This Joplin bathroom had an old sliding-door fiberglass shower with a cracked pan and worn hardware.

The existing shower had an aging sliding glass door setup, a fiberglass surround that had seen better days, and a pan that had cracked over time. The homeowner wanted something that felt current without changing the overall footprint of the bathroom.
We removed the old shower down to the studs, corrected the waterproofing and slope to drain, and rebuilt with a full tile surround and a glass door that feels much lighter than the old setup. Grab bars were added and finished to match the rest of the hardware rather than standing out.
The finished shower matches the scale and light of the rest of the bathroom, with a tile surround and hardware finish that should hold up well beyond the old setup it replaced.
